Island hopping tour in El Nido

El Nido is known for its Island hopping tours, which is one of the most common ways to explore El Nido’s surrounding islands, beaches, and limestone formations.  There are four standard island hopping tours offered in El Nido, each following a different route and highlighting specific locations. Below is a simple overview of what each tour includes.

Tour A

Tour A is a common choice for first-time visitors, covering some of El Nido’s best-known lagoons and island stops. The route includes Big Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, and also stops at Shimizu Island for snorkeling and Seven Commando Beach, with time for kayaking or swimming and offering time to rest by the shore before returning.

Tour B

Tour B explores a more secluded side of El Nido. Walk the natural sandbar of Snake Island at low tide, enter the narrow passages of Cudugnon Cave, and stop at Pinagbuyutan Island with its soft white sand. The tour continues to Entalula Island, known for clear waters and good snorkeling.

Tour C

Tour C highlights dramatic limestone cliffs and open seascapes. Visit Matinloc Shrine and Tapiutan Island, swim into the hidden cove of Secret Beach, and pass by the striking silhouette of Helicopter Island. The tour ends at Star Beach, known for its clear water and pale sand.

Tour D

Tour D visits quieter corners of El Nido. Stop at Natnat Beach beneath limestone cliffs, explore the coral-rich waters of Bukal Island, and walk along the white sand of Paradise Beach. The tour concludes at Cadlao Lagoon, the breathtaking lagoon you can see on the way to Masayana, a calm stretch of water framed by greenery, ideal for swimming or kayaking.

All tours are available as private or shared. Private tours offer more space and flexibility, while shared tours are a more affordable option. Most trips use traditional bangka boats, with speedboats available for a faster experience. We’re happy to help you choose and arrange the tour that best fits your stay in El Nido.
